Eric is a Civil and Environmental Professional Engineer and Partner with over 20 years of experience with Liesch. His areas of expertise include: municipal solid waste landfill design and repermitting, Brownfield development, hazardous and industrial waste management, environmental compliance, mobile source air and noise emissions evaluations, environmental assessments, remediation system design and implementation, storm water modeling and control system design, environmental planning and water supply system evaluation.

Eric manages a wide variety of projects and acts as regulatory liaison on behalf of landfill owners/operators involving the expansion of new cells, closure of old cells, design and implementation of on-site and off-site leachate treatment alternatives, and collaborates on active landfill gas extraction system design and evaluation of alternative energy use. He has also completed numerous projects involving the investigation and clean-up of environmentally impaired property for the purpose of redevelopment. He assists clients with the management of their municipal, industrial, special and hazardous wastes, including characterization, selection of management options, implementation of the selected option, and final reporting.

Eric obtained his Bachelor of Civil Engineering with emphasis in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis/St. Paul, and his Bachelor of Arts with a Core in Mathematics from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Eric serves on the board of Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee, the Midway Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee and is a Board Member of Great River Greening.
